Description
BiBo is a decorative bee hotel that offers a place for tree-dwelling solitary bees to rest and overwinter. Today, solitary bees struggle to find a place to overwinter, and this threatens to wipe out many of them. By hanging up the bee hotel, more bees are given a chance to survive the winter—and in return, your garden or balcony will bloom! Solitary bees are harmless to humans because their stingers are too weak to penetrate our skin. In Sweden, there are currently about 290 bee species, one-third of which are endangered. Solitary bees do not produce honey, but they pollinate large portions of our fruit trees and flowers, and are thus vital to our survival and that of other species.
