Cats have always fascinated Lisa. The Trull serving tray was created about 10 years ago. It is shaped according to Lisa’s own sketch. You can see similarities with the striped cats she threw on the potter’s wheel as early as the 1960s and which were later produced at Gustavsbergs Fabriker. “Mom really wanted to make practical products,” says Johanna. “Serving trays and napkins were things she used herself every day. Her basic rule was that it had to be something she herself wanted to use.”
“I don’t have time to grow old,” Lisa said at the age of 87. “I have so many ideas I want to bring to life.” Now her three children continue to cherish her memory and her rich archive of ideas.
