Lisa’s ceramic lion is one of the most iconic figures she created. It is always expected to be included at exhibitions in Japan. “A Masterpiece.” This pattern is used here on trays and napkins. “Mom really wanted to make practical products,” says Johanna. “Serving trays and napkins were something she used herself every day. Her basic rule was that it had to be something she herself wanted to use.”

Lisa Larson has passed away, but she is not gone. Since the 1950s, she has been active as a ceramicist, creating decorative art and hundreds of beloved figures. For the past 15 years, she has collaborated with her daughter Johanna and developed a licensing business worldwide.
