Kånken Black Oak

Straight backs are best! Fjällräven Kånken was created back in 1978 to help prevent back problems among Swedish schoolchildren, and soon became a common sight in preschools and kindergartens around the country. Today, 40 years later, Kånken has straightened millions of backs all over the world and has become one of Fjällräven's most beloved products.

The classic backpack is just as useful to and from school or work, as it is on excursions and trips. The material is durable and lightweight Vinylon F fabric that resists dirt and moisture. The spacious main compartment has a generous opening with a zipper that makes it easy to pack in and out of things. There are two flat side pockets and a zippered pocket on the front, perfect for small items you want to keep close at hand. An included foam seat cushion is stored in the inner back pocket where it prevents the contents of the backpack from pressing against your back – and is always at hand for a sit-down break, wherever you are. The carrying system is simple but functional with handles at the top and narrow, adjustable shoulder straps. The logo on the front is in reflective material.
