Description
In 2019, Hydraulic was completed at the same time that Isa Andersson finished her master’s degree at Konstfack. A compressed tube that bears witness to the enormous force it has been subjected to. Her work also offers a democratic aspect: a unique work of art that is more than affordable. Pure steel can convey a sense of masculine hardness, but thanks to this process, the vase becomes supple and adds another layer to the story. Hydraulic is a fusion of exciting contrasts. Hydraulic’s weight and sturdy base allow the vase to stand securely as a standalone piece or filled with flowers of all kinds. Designed by Isa Andersson for Design House Stockholm.
