Description
SPICE GRATER is the tool that makes seasoning simple and elegant. The grater is specially designed to grate salt and spices in our RIVSALT range and is shaped to fit comfortably in your hand.
Instead of the holes typically found on Swedish graters, our grater is equipped with small, sharp blades, just like a traditional Japanese grater. The small blades efficiently grate salt stones and dried spices, and you can easily see the grains and shavings on the plate in front of you while grating, thanks to the grater’s small and handy size. You know exactly when to stop. The grater is made of high-quality stainless steel.
So what can you grate? Try our salt stones, organic nutmeg, or cassia cinnamon bark to enhance and add flavor and aroma. Surprise your dinner guests with a little grated raw licorice on top of dessert. For more spicy treats, we recommend our various chili peppers and the spectacular tonka beans.
Many cocktail recipes include spices. Some are healthy, such as a revitalizing detox shot made with grated dried ginger, turmeric, and long pepper from Java mixed with water. Others are deliciously relaxing and truly rewarding, like a Friday night gin & tonic enhanced with grated long pepper.
