Amanda Tunved is a ceramist based in Stockholm. For her upcoming birthday, her partner sent in a secret application to Designtorget. Four months later Amanda's design was welcomed into Designtorget's range and the Ringkon was launched. The ring cone is a decorative interior detail that keeps track of your jewelry. - My partner Kristoffer was tired of hearing me sigh and dream about being able to dedicate more time to pottery. Therefore, he contacted Designtorget to get help to market and sell my products. Thanks to this push I now have bought a separate oven, that I have in my small apartment of 42 sqm, where I can burn my ceramic creations, says Amanda Tunved. Amanda Tunved produced the first design of the Ringkon for the silversmith Caroline Hjerpe, who was in the search for a ceramist that could create ceramic items to showcase jewelery in her shop in Södermalm. For Designtorget, the ring cone was launched in five different designs. The ring cone is handmade, giving each ring cone a uniqueness and its own expression. Read more about Amanda Tunved
