Isolina Fedel was born and raised in Malmö. A language course in London became Isolina's first step outside Sweden which then took her to New York where she studied at one of the world's foremost design schools, Parsons School of Design.
Today she lives and works both in Stockholm and New York, which is often reflected in Isolina's prints that are inspired by the world's different corners. In addition to Monjoi's art prints, she also works with special motifs from private customers on request. Isolina creates each motif by hand using masking tape. When the first negative frames are created, they are painted with acrylic paint. After a large dose of patience and after the color has dried, the tape is finally removed, and the original motif is ready to then be converted into a vectorized file and then sent for print.
