Poster Bokstaveringsalfab. 7 Gaia
Designtorget welcomes designers Liselotte Watkins, Gaia Padovan and Bitte Andersson to the range. In conjunction with the initiative Adam Berit - a proposal for a new lettering alphabet from the Justice Agency and Fredrika Bremer Förbundet - the designers have made their own interpretation of the alphabet. The result is an exclusive collection of posters for those who want to start lettering for increased equality and representation.
"Gender equality is something that I think is incredibly important, so when I got the request I didn't hesitate for a second.
Now, in retrospect, I took inspiration from the ambivalence you might from time to time feel - that you doubt things, yourself. Something we all do, but not always talk about. There I think we can influence, in them daily conversations. The background is an analog photo taken in the Botanical Garden where I find peace and inspiration myself. "
Gaia Padovan works as a UI / graphic designer in automotive. Outside of that, she devotes her time to paint, photograph and similar small side projects.
