Poster Bokstaveringsalfab. 6 Bitte
Designtorget welcomes designers Liselotte Watkins, Gaia Padovan and Bitte Andersson to the range. In conjunction with the initiative Adam Berit - a proposal for a new lettering alphabet from the Justice Agency and Fredrika Bremer Förbundet - the designers have made their own interpretation of the alphabet. The result is an exclusive collection of posters for those who want to start lettering for increased equality and representation.
This poster is Bitte Andersson's interpretation of the alphabet. ”- As a cartoonist, it is close at hand to create people and characters. It therefore seemed natural to start from the body. I started from body parts that I thought the letters were already similar. Where, because the letters took shape, they also got their own character and personality. "
Bitte Andersson is a cartoonist and illustrator and currently works as a teacher in illustration at Konstfack. She has directed the action comedy musical Dyke Hard, which had premiere in Sweden in 2015. Bitte also has a past as a bookstore and started the feminist bookstore Hallongrottan in Stockholm in 2006.
