Necklace Silk Denim

Elegant necklace made of hand-woven silk. The designer Kumvana Gomani Holmberg works together with a non-profit organization that helps vulnerable Cambodians to earn a living by producing jewelry. The necklace measures approx. 115 cm incl. the part where you tie the necklace and the length can be varied. Because the silk is made by hand, the tint can vary slightly. Also available as a matching bracelet.

Historien om Designtorget började 1993 med en stor och hopplös yta i Kulturhusets bottenplan i Stockholm. En arkitekt fick möjlighet att göra något åt utrymmet och med ett starkt kulturintresse gick tanken direkt till alla de formgivare och uppfinnare som gick arbetslösa i lågkonjunkturen. Så väcktes idén om en marknadsplats för form och innovationer och Designtorget såg dagens ljus.
