The classic Stumpstaken has been developed in a new size, Stumpstaken Ettan.

A stylish and practical candlestick specially designed for candlesticks, short candles, small candles, tealights or brand new candles. Stumpstaken cannot catch fire when the candles burn down. Designed by Jonas Torstensson for Born in Sweden. Made of 100% returaluminium.

Cleaning: First peel off any loose wax without scraping. Then place the candle skate upside down on a plate covered with aluminum foil. Set it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 90-100 degrees and the stearin runs out onto the foil. Wipe the candle dry with kitchen paper before the stearin solidifies. No water needed.

Jonas Torstensson

Jonas Torstensson is a trained industrial designer with a degree from Konstfack in Stockholm. In 1985 he started working with art and design in his own company that went under the name Torstensson Design. A couple of years later, Jonas joined his father, the architect Lars Olof Torstensson. Together they founded the company Torstensson Art & Design AB, which came to accommodate architecture, art and design under one roof.
