    Candleholder Nappula glass grey

Iittala's classic candleholder Nappula in a new design!

    Matti Klenell

Matti Klenell is a Swedish designer who is known for his explorations of the Nordic design philosophy regarding form and function. Just like the craftsmen during the beginning of industrialism, Klenell tries to give life to his artistic expression through the limitations of the production process. His goal is to give his creations life by giving them character and personality. His customers include names like Iittala, Brio, and Muuto. His multi faceted approach to design allows him to work in many platforms, including separate exhibitions of his glass art. Klenell has received great recognition for his work, including the Red Dot Design Award for Lempi drinking glasses that he created for Iittala. Read more about Matti Klenell
