Cink

A sunny autumn day in southern Sweden on Österlen's open plains. Three moms on a child free weekend. A bottle of wine (or maybe more than one) and a lot of ideas and thoughts about the future. Two entrepreneurs and a frustrated what-to-do-with-my-life-mom - and the idea of Cink was born!  With an abundance of products for children of all ages, we all thought that it was still one thing on the market that was lacking - clean, stylish children's tableware that fit into the adult home. Is it really so difficult to design functional children's plates and mugs in simple shapes, soft colors and without childish patterns? Obviously not! "With this in mind, I started designing a children's tableware for the smallest ones in the family. With inspiration from Österlen's beautiful nature, Cink's shapes and colors arose with the idea that we will hopefully be able to grow and develop more products in the future.  The five colors in Cink should be consistent throughout all our future products, so the company's name is our Swedish version of "cinq" the French word for five, "says Elena Holmberg, Cink's founder.
